Sign Company in Miami, FL
Highmark is headquartered at 955 Orange Ave in Daytona Beach and serves Miami, approximately 230 miles south via I-95, along with the rest of Miami-Dade County, manufacturing, installing and permitting signage built to Florida’s hurricane wind-load standards, not a generic catalog product.
A Local Sign Company, Not a Regional Broker
A Miami sign project runs smoother when one company handles design through installation. That’s how Highmark works in Miami-Dade County: our own designers, our own fabrication shop, our own crews on site through final hookup.
Our team partners directly with South Florida property owners and developers on a design that fits the business and the building, then fabricates and installs it with our own in-house crews rather than passing the work to a third party.
Engineered to Miami-Dade & Broward Wind-Load Standards
South Florida enforces some of the toughest wind-load and impact codes in the country, and Highmark builds to the Miami-Dade and Broward County hurricane standard as our baseline everywhere, not only for jobs inside Miami-Dade County.
That means heavier-gauge aluminum, deeper pan forms and reinforced mounting as a starting point, plus marine-grade materials and stainless fasteners for year-round coastal humidity.

Channel Letters vs. Cabinet Signs
Channel letters are separate, illuminated 3D letters that give a facade a higher-end look, a common choice for Miami storefronts. Cabinet signs use a single translucent face over a boxed structure, typically the more economical route and the easier one to refresh later. We manufacture both ourselves.
Project Timeline
Most Miami projects take 4 to 6 weeks for design and fabrication, plus whatever time Miami-Dade County’s local permitting office adds. We keep you in the loop from initial concept through final electrical hookup.
