About Highmark Lighting & Signage
Highmark Lighting and Signage was founded in 2008 with a straightforward mission: deliver professional, reliable commercial sign installation services that businesses can count on. From day one, we made a deliberate choice to focus on what we do best — the fieldwork. While many companies in our industry try to be everything to everyone, manufacturing signs in one facility and installing them as an afterthought, we took the opposite approach. Installation, maintenance, and service are not side activities for us. They are the entire business.
That focus has paid off. Over nearly two decades, we have grown from a small operation in Port Orange, Florida, to a multi-state sign installation company with active projects across Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas. We have completed work for some of the largest brands in the petroleum, financial, hospitality, and retail industries. Our clients include franchise networks undergoing brand conversions, property management companies maintaining hundreds of signs across multiple states, and local businesses that need a single sign installed right the first time.
Our Equipment & Capabilities
One of the biggest differences between Highmark and other sign installation companies is that we own and operate our own equipment fleet. This is not a minor detail — it directly affects how quickly we can respond to your project, how much the job costs, and how safely the work gets done. Our fleet includes Elliott bucket trucks capable of reaching over 100 feet (the H110, G85, L65, and L50 models), a semi with lowboy trailer for transporting heavy equipment and oversized signs, Ford F350 service trucks, aerial lifts ranging from 24 to 60 feet, excavators with auger attachments for sign foundation work, and skid steers for site preparation. When a project requires crane work, rope access, or specialized rigging, we coordinate those resources directly rather than subcontracting the entire operation. This equipment fleet means we control the schedule, the safety standards, and the quality of every project. We do not wait on rental companies or subcontractor availability. When your project is approved, we deploy.
Safety & Certifications
Commercial sign work is inherently high-risk. Our crews work at elevation, around electrical systems, and in active commercial environments. Safety is not a policy we post on a wall — it is an operational discipline that runs through every job. All Highmark field crews wear full PPE including hard hats, safety glasses, high-visibility vests, gloves, steel-toed boots, and fall protection harnesses where required. Our vertical rope access technicians hold SPRAT (Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians) certification. We maintain comprehensive general liability and workers compensation insurance that meets the requirements of national brand clients and general contractors.
Our Service Philosophy
We believe the best sign installation company is one you never have to worry about. That means showing up on the scheduled date, completing the work to spec, leaving the site clean, and being available when something goes wrong six months later. Our repeat business rate speaks to this philosophy — the majority of our revenue comes from existing clients who trust us with ongoing maintenance, multi-location rollouts, and new project referrals. Whether your project involves a single storefront sign or a 500-location national rebrand, Highmark has the equipment, the crew, and the field experience to deliver.
